B2B eCommerce Sales Associate

Location: 8300 Lane Drive, Watervliet
Position Type: Part-Time, 1st Shift - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Hourly/Salary: Hourly - Competitive pay based on experience

The B2B eCommerce Sales Associate - Part Time reports to the B2B eCommerce Sales Team Lead, providing customer service and support for eCommerce accounts to facilitate successful sale of product through order entry, return request, data request and much more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with designated customer population providing pertinent information to facilitate sale of products. Build and maintain rapport with designated customer population.
  • Research and relay information including but not limited to order details, product specification, shipping and tracking data to the customer.
  • Run reports which will facilitate and enhance the order experience resulting in meeting customer order stipulations.
  • Gather, analyze and resolve internal and external complex data discrepancies for effective data file submissions.
  • Acquire product images and specifications from internal systems, vendors, internet and relevant contacts per customer request.
  • Manage disputes that arise with customers related to shortage claims and pricing claims.
  • Keep abreast of market trends in new products, pricing, etc. Participate in vendor seminars and other training as required.
  • Help with technical issues and management of data feeds.
  • Order entry, entering orders that are received via email and or phone.
  • Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required. Preferred includes: post-secondary education such as business management, sales, marketing; basic webmaster skills and File Transfer Protocol (FTP); automotive knowledge or experience working within the performance product aftermarket.

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands, stand, twist, bend, walk and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
