Annual Motor State Challenge

Three days of Pro-Touring fun!

An annual three-day Pro-Touring event, the Motor State Challenge brings together as many as 100 drivers from across the US and Canada to compete for fun and bragging rights. Drivers can compete in standard and manufacturer Vintage and Late Model classes, as well as the QA1 #goDRIVEit class, which is designed for participants who drive their vehicle to the event, race it, then drive it home. It also features the unscored/untimed Touring class designed for those wanting the on-track experience without the competitive pressure.

A perennial driver favorite, the Motor State Challenge has become a “must do” event for Pro-Touring drivers from across the US and Canada. In 2020, the Motor State Challenge proudly introduced the #goDRIVEit class, sponsored by QA1, and specially designed for drivers who want to drive their vehicles to the track, race them, then drive them home. This class honors the origins of Pro-Touring racing, when drivers often raced their daily drivers at informal weekend events.

We thank all of our participants, sponsors, and fans for making the 2021 Motor State Challenge a great success. Dates for the 2022 Motor State Challenge will be announced in the coming months, so check back for updates!
