PRO-Touring Strong In The Upper Midwest
This year eighty-three competitors took part in the three-day event. Thursday's registration and the drivers' meeting were held at the Watervliet, Michigan Fairfield Inn. After the meeting the cars were lined up for a scenic cruise to Das Dutch Essenhaus in Middlebury, Indiana. Everyone enjoyed an evening car show and a delicious Amish style meal.

Friday all the participants successfully passed the tech inspection process conducted by the South Bend Region SCCA. By mid-morning, Gingerman Raceway was opened for all drivers to participate in 15-minute timed lap sessions. After the final session, everyone was treated to a variety of Sherman's ice cream.

Saturday the competitors were ready for a day of autocross at the Tire Rack in South Bend, Indiana. Each driver had six chances to record their fastest lap time. By late afternoon all the competition was complete. Motor State Distributing's Marketing Manager Scott Wahlstrom presented the awards and a large selection of product certificates from the many industry partners that make this event possible.
